Its the shift in serotonin-kyna pathways that alterations in AHr binding controls, thats why they all have a profound impact on autism, we know about the immune system abnormalaties (IDO/TPH) and we know about the elevated blood serotonin concentrations in autism aswell.

I personally think AHr is far upstream of NRF2, anyway this is just my opinion. It all starts in the gut really where AHr can be manipulated.
This is also one of the reasons why compounds that have poor bioavailability in the blood still can exert their effect on the gut and then enhance nuclear signalling.Aspie1983https://www.blogger.com/profile/14186355234793738967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-655962722302095847.post-63564233690063257302019-02-28T10:23:57.513+01:002019-02-28T10:23:57.513+01:00"NRF2 engages in crosstalk with other transcr..."NRF2 engages in crosstalk with other transcription factors, such as the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR), the retinoic X receptor alpha (RXRα), NF-kB, p53, Notch1 and heat shock factor 1 (Hsf1), thus influencing indirectly the expression of their respective target genes."
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0924224416305258

I wonder if this means that sulforaphane has an effect on AhR?

/LingAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-655962722302095847.post-80326444961903310012018-08-28T14:01:30.080+02:002018-08-28T14:01:30.080+02:00Just for info, not a solution:

I am not sure if the John Hopk...Peter and Tatjana,

I am not sure if the John Hopkins paper refers to children with autism or rather those at risk?

"As one way to address concerns about vaccine-related regression in children with mitochondrial disorders, suppression of the inflammatory response with a leukotriene receptor antagonist, such as montelukast (Singulair) or zafirlukast (Accolate), as well as ibuprofen, can attenuate the anti-mitochondrial elements of the immune response, as discussed above, without affecting the primary immunological response to attenuated virus vaccines. Although for most children with AMD the risk for injury was unknown until regression occurred, preventative measures can be undertaken when there is a family history of regressive autism or other suspicion of mitochondrial disease, such as delayed gross motor milestones."

I was told about the successful use of antihistamines before and after the vaccinations in children with increased risk of adverse events at the specialized pediatric center, but they admit children with various diseases. Their experience has not been published to date.

It is a complex topic and one thing I would say is that there are no "one size fits all" solutions, that should be applied to the n=1 child.

In the "vaccine debate" both sides are often biased and the real problem of the "vaccine debate" is that it does not help autism real science progress at all. You can also add NAC and an H1 antihistamine.

The sad thing is that this information is not widely publicized.

Anyone with oxidative stress will have reduced levels of GSH and your body needs GSH to remove substance like metals that enter your body, but should not be there. By supplementing with NAC you boost your level of GSH, allowing it to do its job.

I have no doubt people with MS have oxidative stress and therefore they will accumulate substances like aluminium in their brains. But the aluminium did not cause their MS. Their MS caused oxidative stress and they lost their ability to remove substances from their body. The body has a perfect built-in detox system; but it is overloaded if you are in permanent oxidative stress.
Peter Lloyd-Thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10173383229834614994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-655962722302095847.post-43772999403186737152018-08-22T19:37:08.663+02:002018-08-22T19:37:08.663+02:00The baby teeth twin study by Manish Arora is one o...The baby teeth twin study by Manish Arora is one of the most important studies on autism in my opinion. It shows that whatever the cause for that, the autistic twin has misregulated metal
absorption or distribution. This is of course a first venture into this topic and I have simplified the findings for the purpose of this comment. Then there are the follow up questions we have...the autistic body is obviously a disregulated mechanism. There are elevated cytokines, folinic receptor antibodies, apparently minerals/metals disregulation, problems with reflex integration, hormones, gut inflammation and permeability issues. While it is not known what causes all this, a majority of autistic humans will have some of these issues present in their body. Before we delve into any other questions about vaccines, my topic is: should autistic children be vaccinated, if we know their bodies are actually sick in the very systems a vaccine is supposed to work with? I believe that if a full workup on all these issues was done on an autistic individual and the results
presented to an immunologist, he would vehemently disagree with this person being vaccinated.
So we have a system that obviously knows that there is an autism epidemic and obviously knows that vaccines are not good for the health of those babies and they just keep quiet. This is enough to condemn the people involved on an ethical level.
Not everything about autism is about metals and vaccines. But its a sad state of affairs where this hot potato is so on fire it can’t be touched by anyone while autism numbers just skyrocket. It makes people feel distrustful and nobody can blame them. This shows that some people's autism was caused by mitochondrial disease, triggered by a negative reaction to vaccines. This is widely known by people who actually understand the science. These people also know that millions of lives have been saved by vaccines.

People like you who take the easy choice of a simplistic emotional view, would encourage everyone not to vaccinate their children and then many people would die. This is why there can never be an open public debate, it cannot be condensed into simple sound bites. The public mainstream position is factually incorrect, in order to protect the public; in reality vaccines are known to have a risk of triggering autism. Of course vaccines can have side effects, why do you think there is a billion dollar compensation fund? This has all been covered in this blog.

The intelligent approach would be to make the vaccination process safer, which is already being done at Johns Hopkins.

If you think all autism is caused by metal poisoning, and that makes you feel better, good for you. Personally I prefer the truth, which is much more complicated. Finally, I stayed with inulin and olive oil. Without realizing it, i found myself following the Nemechek protocol, as I also was giving cod liver oil high in DHA. This protocol also includes VNS and the nonabsorbable antibiotic Rifaximin, for SIBO, for bigger kids and adults. I suspended all supplements and only kept bumetanide and ethosuximide. He continues improving a lot day by day. I think that I have found a polypill suitable for him that works synergistically.I had already told you about MS in the family and this post confirms me that iam in the right track. Of course keep no phenol enzymes for the moment until the gut is restored. Now Iam thinking of adding also niacin or cinnamon as HCA2 activators.Thank you for all your help.
Valentina Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
